If you invite someone (as I just did) you get more :) up to 8GB, after that you must purchase a monthly or yearly account.
Adding files:
Once you set up your dropbox files, just save everything in there from that point on
You drag existing files and folders into your dropbox folder
File Sharing:
If you want to share files with someone, first be careful!
If they have access to view, they also have access to delete and edit.
If a file is deleted or edited by another person by mistake, there are ways to revert back and fix it - but it's a pain
Only share files with those you trust (in computing ability and integrity)
Only share files that you would be ok loosing, if not, then back them up somewhere else first. Or better yet, create a new folder (copy your files into it) and share just that folder.
I have done just that for you - please check your email to view what it looks like online.
Let's download the folder as well so you guys can add, change, edit, etc.
In the Future: (next year)
I'd like to set up a locked Dropbox (there has to be a way) so that students can have access all the time
They could open their computers and the files I want them to have would automatically be downloaded
They could use Dropbox on their iPhone, iPod, Blackberry, iPad and read notes, review Power Points, and even print documents.
What is Digital Dropbox:
First you must open up your own dropbox account.
